This hook and loop backed discs boast premium, gold, heat-treated aluminum oxide grains resin bonded to heavy-duty, C-weight backing. Each film disc features a load resistant stearate coating to extend the life of the disc by eliminating clogging during use. Its 3-mil polyester film backing provides tear strength and durability, and its sharp, P-graded, heat-treated premium aluminum oxide grain results in a fast, cool cut. These film discs provide a uniform scratch pattern, heat resistance, increased durability, and superb grain adhesion, with the addition of the non-loading stearate these discs are very reliable and long-lasting. Finally, the C-weight backing affixed with a hook and loop attachment and detachment system Velcro backing makes adhering and removing the discs simple and fast. All together these features make the Velcro sanding disc a convenient, effective and long-lasting hook and loop sanding disc ideal for use on low to medium pressure sanding applications
