DELUXE POLISHING KIT
Product Description
Elkay Products has been an importer and distributor of hand tools, drill accessories, hobby tools and polishing accessories since 1952. Elkay's mission is to provide customers with a less expensive alternative to the larger more expensive tool distributors without compromising quality.
- Buff and polish everything from plastic to gold with Enkay's Deluxe Metal and Plastic Polishing Kit for successfully removing scratches, polishing, and producing a mirror like finish on most metals and plastics.
- Includes: (3) buffing wheels, (4) traditional polishing compounds for finishing most metals, (4) uniquely shaped buffing wheels and (5) felt bobs for polishing hard-to-reach areas, (1) Our specially formulated Green Stainless Steel compound for producing a high luster finish on Stainless Steel, and (1) Our versatile Blue All Purpose compound to buff and polish most plastics (cannot be used on low melting point plastics).
- All buffing wheels and felt bobs are mounted on 1/4" shanks for use with a standard electric drill. Each kit comes with step-by-step “Polish like a Pro” instructions and a polishing compound chart showing which polishing compound to use with each metal.
- Materials that can be polished with this kit: acrylics, aluminum, brass, copper, gold, iron, nickel, pewter, platinum, sterling or silver plate, nickel/chrome/brass/copper plates, steel, stainless steel, thermosetting plastic (bakelite, formica), hard rubber, horn, wood, and more.
- Apply compounds on buffing wheels. To apply, simply spin a buffing wheel on a motor or drill and gently press the compound to the wheel. The heat and friction of the spinning wheel will be enough to transfer a small amount of the compound onto the wheel for polishing.
